James A. Duronio, CIMA
James A. Duronio, CIMA joined our firm as Portfolio Manager and Director of Investment Research in April 2007. Jim has more than eighteen years of experience in the field of investment management and client service. In his previous role, Jim was an Associate and Manager of Investment Research at a large local Registered Investment Advisory firm that consults on nearly $5 billion in assets.
Jim also was an Investment Officer and Client Services Portfolio Manager for First of America Investment Corporation (now National City Corporation). Over the years, Jim has managed and consulted on investments for large individual and institutional accounts.
Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Oakland University and a Masters Degree in Finance with Distinction from Walsh College. He is also a Certified Investment Manager Analyst that he obtained through the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Jim has also obtained his Certified Investment Strategist Certificate through IMCA and Wharton and is currently a Level II candidate for the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
He enjoys spending time with his wife Laurie and their triplet daughters.
